Valencia Renee Dantzler, aka Mother Diva is a self made producer/media personality/media relations liaison with a fan based around the world.

She has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Film/Television Production. Because of hard work, dedication and the experience of college productions as well as freelance productions, Valencia was able to jumpstart her career as a production supervisor on various independent short subject films and music videos.

 

Under her pseudonym Mother Diva, she served as a former cast member/Asst. Talent Coordinator/Asst. Public Relations Liaison for the Keenan Ivory Wayans Show, and was featured performer on the Fox Network hit show “ Ally McBeal”. She also has many other film /television credits as an actress.

 

14 years ago she relocated back home to Chicago from Los Angeles and established Fat Girl Entertainment and a subsidiary division, Cool Commercial Concepts, which produces commercials and promotes events.

 

In the past 14 years, Mother Diva has written an advice column “Ask Mother Diva” and entertainment editorials for 2 community newspapers (South Street Journal and African American Woman Newspaper).

 

Mother Diva/Cool Commercial Concepts has promoted several entertainment projects including "Hair Show, The Movie", (executive producer Magic Johnson).  She served as an announcer/host for 2004, 2005,& 2006 City of Chicago Summer Dance DJ series. 

 

This fire ball of galactic energy is a no-nonsense, take charge, creative, multi-tasked, and dedicated individual who believes in being a team player. She is well connected to highly profiled corporations and individuals on the local level and worldwide. She is an excellent spokesperson to endorse any corporation’s products and services.

 

In the 4th quarter of 2004 she negotiated a barter ship

agreement with NBC and WGCR Web & Satellite Radio, the details of the deal included the exchange of web links and neither company had to pay any advertising expenses. As a bonus, her name ended up on the NBC soap opera, "Passions" website for an entire month for interviewing the soap stars of NBC Justin Hartley and

Mother Diva also wrote a theme song ”Open Season Chicago Bears” dedicated to the Chicago Bears. NBC Chicago listed the catchy tune on their website as the number 3 tribute song and only tribute song that was produced as house music co-written by a female.

Valencia Dantzler aka Mother Diva is the official house music spokesperson/mascot and the Mother Ambassador of House Music national and International.

 

In 2008 Mother Diva made history by being the only individual representing the house music community to have appeared in a taped interview segment which aired on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno”. The segment was “Ross The Intern” at the NATPE Convention, (National Association of Television Program Executives). Her savvy networking skills has allowed her to fill a database of industry resources which would be

beneficial to any company/corporation.

 

Valencia Dantzler aka Mother Diva, is also a Music Detective, researching and locating songwriters/music publishers to inform them of uncollected royalties.

In 2011 she served as the host on the main stage of The Black Women’s Expo, at McCormick Place Chicago

Mother Diva takes the mic as host at Daley Plaza in Chicago

 

The Black Women’s Expo

The longest-running African American event held at Chicago’s prestigious McCormick Place each year. The expo is about empowering the community in unity. BWE is a 3 day week-end of  family fun entertainment  filled with 350 Vendors, over 40 educational panel discussions, tons of celebrities, and more.

 

The expo began its journey in 1993 and was created by Merry Green, CEO OF MGPG EVENTS. MERRY GREEN is an innovative genius for creating a mini city within a city. The festivities began with THE PHENOMENAL WOMEN GALA AWARDS held the night before the expo.

 

A portion of the proceeds will go to THE BABARA BATES FOUNDATION. The Foundation is committed to serving economically disadvantaged High School Seniors for prom attire.  In addition, they are philanthropic toward the education and awareness of Breast Cancer
