CELEBRATING 50 YEARS of the CMA FEST
The legendary Country Music Festival which launched in 1972 as a Fan Fair turns 50!
Now known as the CMA Fest the Country Music Festival is a four day event and is the longest-running Country Music Festival in the world attracting thousands of fans from across all 50 states and tourists from all over the world.
Once held at the Nashville Municipal Auditorium the CMA FEST is now celebrated throughout the city of Nashville
Country music fans gear up to be treated to the sounds of Country Music rising stars as well as bigtime Country Music legends, those that paved the way such as Randy Travis, Reba McEntire, Marty Stuart, Alan Jackson and many many more.
Concerts are held at various staging areas throughout downtown Nashville including Chevy Riverfront Stage at Riverfront Park, Dr. Pepper Amp Stage at Ascend Park and Chevy Vibes Stage at Walk of Fame Park among others.
There are ticketed nighttime concerts at the Nissan Stadium and the Ascend Amphitheater, however, there are many free daytime performance stages.
Ticket admission is required into Fan Fair X held at the Music City Center which grants Country Music lovers access for meet-and-greets with their favorite Country Music stars as well as musical performances.
And of course all the Nashville Honky Tonks, bars and restaurants open their doors to welcome locals and tourists from all over to enjoy live music and delicious food!!
